ABOUT THE ARTIST

Daniella Smith is a figurative and multidisciplinary artist originally from London and now basedin Seaside, California. Her work focuses on the intimate yet collective moments that shape our daily lives—commutes, coffee runs, quiet thoughts in transit. With a background steeped in observation and storytelling, her art is a kind of visual autobiography of the ordinary. Daniella’s two-hour daily commute in London once served as a moving studio and a wellspring of ideas. Today, she channels those experiences into vibrant, narrative-driven paintings that invite empathy and reflection. Her lens is human, her palette alive with memory and movement.
