ABOUT THE ARTIST

Cher Pruys is a self-taught Canadian artist from the small town of Devlin, Ontario. Known for her masterful hyperrealism, she uses acrylics—along with gouache and watercolor—to transform everyday scenes into extraordinary visual moments. Her work often highlights the way light plays across reflective surfaces or reveals hidden textures, making even the most familiar objects feel fresh and awe-inspiring.

With numerous international awards and affiliations (ASAA, SCA, IGOR, AAPL, CSAA, AMS, LMS, OSA, MAA, CFA, NOAPS, PSOA, AWA, and AAOA), Cher continues to evolve her craft while staying rooted in her deep appreciation for life’s small wonders.
