Inspiration

This charming piece reflects Chelsea Tobin’s firsthand experience working in a café, where she discovered just how telling a coffee order could be. Over time, she began to predict regulars’ drinks before they spoke—espresso for the no-nonsense, iced latte for the daydreamers, flat white for the quietly bold. “Coffee Orders” is a celebration of personality through beverage, each mark on the paper as specific as the customer behind it.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Chelsea Tobin is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Yarra Valley, just outside Melbourne. Her work blends nature, narrative, and emotion—often playfully, always thoughtfully. With a toolkit of acrylics, watercolor, and pencil, she selects her medium based on mood: acrylic for play, pencil and watercolor for quiet reflection.

Chelsea’s storytelling is layered—sometimes literally. Her pieces invite close looking, where curious eyes may find hidden elements tucked between lines and color. She’s passionate about using art to shift perception, turning everyday scenes into whimsical, imaginative visual journeys.
