Coffee Figure by Timothy Myers

Mixed Media: Ink, Graphite, Acrylic, Aerosol & Coffee

McSherrystown, Pennsylvania, USA

Inspiration

“Coffee Figure” began as a sketchbook study—an exercise in line and form that unexpectedly evolved into a bold, mixed-media composition. Created with a single-line figure outline and layered with coffee splatter for shading, the piece is anchored by a perfectly imperfect coffee ring. What started as play became something more: a raw, expressive blend of technique and texture, with coffee acting as both subject and medium.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Timothy Myers is a Pennsylvania-based figurative artist and illustrator whose work is rooted in experimentation and duality. With a strong foundation in the human form, Timothy’s pieces often explore the boundaries between fine art and illustration, realism and abstraction, comics and classical studies. His multi-media approach—ranging from ink and graphite to coffee and aerosol—adds unexpected energy and tension to each composition.

Drawing influence from pop culture and comic art, Timothy infuses each figure with a sense of narrative, emotion, and risk. His studio practice is expressive, deliberate, and always evolving.

Go-to Coffee Order: Americano

Coffee Sanctuary: Merlin’s Coffee—a cat-inspired spot with wizard vibes. Also Ghouls and Grinds—a horror-themed café and art gallery.
